Updated by diff rather than rebroadcasting each stage’s running order on every tap — two thousand idle screens each receiving full state is how a hall’s wifi becomes the problem.

Number order, always — it is how dancers line up, how they are called, and how the printed sheet in the marshal’s other hand is ordered. Everything is reversible except “danced”, because a marshal taps while standing, talking and holding a clipboard.

Only the dancers due within half an hour. One who has not arrived and dances at two o’clock is not a problem; this is the list somebody actually walks off to act on.

Stage 1 running about 15 minutes late. Two taps per competition — start and stop — feed this, next year’s duration estimates, and later the video clip boundaries. One capture, three features.

Stage 2: stage 2 running to time.

09:22restartMusic stopped halfway through 214; adjudicator allowed a re-danceStage manager, Stage 1
09:31injury · first aidDancer turned an ankle in the wings; first aid attended, withdrew from 301Marshal, Stage 1

A restart is recorded twice on purpose: as an incident, because allowing a re-dance is an adjudicator’s decision with rules consequences, and as a timing tap, because it costs the stage minutes. The log is append-only for the same reason the audit trail is.
