Free to run your feis. You keep 100% of your entry fees.
There is no subscription, no plan tiers, and nothing held back behind a paywall. Every feature in the platform is available to every committee from the first sanction to the post-event report.
One fee, charged once, to whoever created the record
A family registers at checkout
The fee is a labelled line item at the moment they pay their entry fees. Nothing is added later, and nothing is billed if they abandon the basket — no record, no charge.
A committee imports, bulk-enters, or takes a desk entry
The fee is charged to the organisation’s card on file, at the moment the record is created. A late entry on the day works exactly the same way.
One dancer, one fee, whatever they enter
A dancer who enters eight competitions is charged once for the event, not once per competition. A ceili team is charged the same way — one fee per dancer, no matter how the roster is built.
“You receive 100% of your entry fees” is not a rounded-up figure
Card processing is absorbed by the platform rather than passed on to the committee, so an entry fee of $12 arrives as $12. The alternative — passing processing costs on — would be cheaper for us and worse for the one sentence a volunteer treasurer actually needs to be able to say with confidence.
Per-dancer pricing means a big event does not cost more per family
| Event size | Dancers | What the committee pays | What a family of one dancer pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small feis | 300 | $0 | ~$5, once, regardless of how many competitions |
| Large feis | 1,500 | $0 | ~$5, once, regardless of how many competitions |
Some platforms charge the host a fee per competition hosted and add a service fee to every transaction at checkout. That can look cheaper for the host and more expensive for a family entering several dances — the per-dancer model here is the same price whether a dancer enters one competition or eight.
What a treasurer usually asks first
- Is there really no subscription or tier?
- No. Every feature — scheduling, offline judging, safeguarding, sponsorship, the governing-body return, cloning next year’s event — is available to every organisation. Gating features for a volunteer committee running once a year is exactly the wrong incentive, so there is nothing to gate.
- What happens if a family withdraws?
- Withdraw before entries close and the platform fee is refunded with the entry fee. Withdraw after entries close, or scratch on the day, and the fee is retained — numbering, the schedule and the printed documents have already consumed the work it paid for.
- Is anything ever withheld from a dancer over an unpaid balance?
- No. Published results, the governing-body return, and anything on the event day are never withheld, whatever the state of an organisation’s account. A child never carries a committee’s billing problem.
- Do we need a card on file even if families pay for everything?
- A payment method is required at organisation setup, but it is only ever charged if a dancer is created outside checkout — an import, a bulk entry, or a desk entry. If every dancer registers and pays through the platform, the organisation is never charged directly.
- Is there an invoice we settle later?
- No accruals, no invoices, no balances, for families or for organisers. Every charge happens at the moment the record is created, which is also why a mistaken import is corrected with a refund rather than an unpaid line waiting to be chased.
